No pitcher could hold off the Athletics on Thursday, as the Tigers sent four pitchers to the mound (Technically three considering Straps pitched.), and couldn't get much back as Jordan Levy pitched a 4 hit, 5 inning game to improve to 1-0, and even his teams record at 1-1. The only blemish on Levy's line was the 8 bases on balls he gave up, with four of them coming around to score. On the Athletics hitting side, everyone came to hit, led by Mike Cooper, Landon Wideman, and J. Levy. Collectively they scored a total of 11 runs, went 5 for 9, and drew 6 walks.
