Doran and Moncayo wanting to Be-Miller

Monday May 31

The Phillies rookie, Doran, and Chris Moncayo both had trouble finding the plate on a sweltering day of baseball Sunday, as the Tigers were able to score 11 runs in the first rwo innings. Anwar Khan led the charge with a 2 for 3, walk, RBI, and 2 run game, while Godard held the fort as the Phillies came back to make it close at 13-10. The Tigers had no answer for Matt Biemiller, who had come in to relieve in the third and held the Tigers to 2 runs in 5 innings to give the Phillies a chance, but Dan Buchanan hit a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 7th to put the Tigers up by 3. The Phillies couldn't score in the top of the 8th as rookie, Pat Doran, was picked off of second base with two outs to end the game........ P6 or P12?

When I was a rookie I played on a Dave Repath team (this is probably why I came back for a second year), if that happened to me, I would have been P24, and maybe I would have been given a harsher nickname.  Desi said it best..."way she goes rook".

Cheers,

Whatever, I was safe...I'll bring a 6, if I was clearly out I'd most def bring the 12 lol

Truthfully rook...don't think it's your call to make.

Beer litigation is handled solely by the vets &/or monitor on your team (sometimes a 3rd outside party veteran if req'd)...typically determined by the timing of the pick-off, what it had cost in potential runs for the team that game, and the win/loss outcome for the team.

No rookie can tamper with or question the P6 rules if in a rotation - again, way she f'n goes.

To echo Moncayo's sentiment - count your blessings (both financially & more so to your liver) - that you've never had to bear a Reaper/Bammer beer rotation...that'd woul'd cost you 24 cold ones - NO QUESTIONS ASKED - and you'd be lucky to get even one bottle from that P24.

Take your team's decision with a grain of salt, and learn not make any knucklehead mistakes on base...especially at the end of a game...this is exactly what the P6 rules are for.

Cheers bud.
