Thanks for the wishes.  I was actually going to write back about the AGM, but I guess you guys beat me to it.

One point brought up for next year might be that we use an SMS Gateway for sending text messages to the cell phones.  This will not be an option.  Of the providers I've found, the only one in Canada which will work will cost $10 per 100 messages.  *thumbs down*,

Option Two: next year's form will have an online option.  You can select your provider (fido / rogers / bell / telus / virgin / etc) and then we'll hook up your phone number and send an email to yournumber@yourprovider.ext  something like 4165551212@txt.fido.ca for example.  This will cost the league nothing (maybe for you something) but it is an option if you don't have email on your phone and want "IMPORTANT UPDATES" sent to your phone, such as game cancellations / schedule updates, if Mookie got a hit.  You know the important stuff.

I'm curious to hear your opinion...I'm going to make a poll.

Hey Chris, congrats and all the best.  I was on vacation and missed the AGM, but I think the league made a wise decision, as I know it's in good hands.  All the best, and if you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Also, I'd like to give a great big thanks to Andy Dalton for all the great work he did as president.  The league was well run and prospered in your time, and you've set the bar high for Prez-Moncayo.  Andy, all the work you did was very much appreciated.

Kudo's to Andy Dalton and the 2009 executive and best wishes to Chris Moncayo and the 2010 group.  I believe the league is in good hands and our future looks bright.

The league doesn't exist without the hard work and dedication of the few who actually give a crap about it.  We don't just show up and magically play.  Someone had to take the time to register players, secure sponsors, order uniforms (balls and equipment), schedule games and umpires, obtain permits and make sure that everything is a go before before we even start back in May.

The league doesn't flourish without input from it's players.  It's a shame that many of you had other commitments that prevented you from attending the AGM.  Yes, it does get boring and ridiculous at times, but it's your forum to voice concerns and participate in the direction of the league.  To all the players who took the time and attended, thank you!

Do you really want to here my Opinion Mr Pres.. Can we get Dalton back!!! Is that good enough for you... Now really funny funny har har. SMS messageing would be great for updates but you would have to exclude myself, cause then your text messages would be too many pages, cause of all the hits I will have for the restt of the year plus next year. I must say this being my 11th year, the RHMRBL Executives have done a great job every year. Hats off to them cause from what I see and Hear its not easy. Twinkle aka "DARPY" Sorry DARBY you will do great minus your one comment, but for now I will strike from the record, and pretend I didn't see it...

I will take it out on you and beat you the next time I see you for that comment. Was a stressful year, and now my team moves on to our next quest, an RHMRBL 2009 Championshiop, with 2 great teams to get passed on our road trip. But I must say that last years exec did a great job and all the best to our 2010 Executive Team.
