Our rich history, now in its 33rd year, has seen its fair share of dominating pitchers. Few have attacked the league and persevered as long as the great Waylen Nelson. "Wayles" ranks second all time in wins (66), first in innings pitched (869.1), and first in complete games (64). He is a 3 time pitcher of the year, 2 time playoff pitcher, 2 time league MVP, and has won it all once. He attacks the plate and is second all time in strike outs.
Riding to the games in his massive truck, Waylen is always all smiles! You can often catch him pregame sharing stories or post game in the lot with drink in hand.
A fierce competitor, Waylen entered the prestigious RHMRBL Hall Of Fame in 2013. He is one of this league's Crown Jewels, and also one of the nicest guys. We're proud and honored to feature this stud as this week's Today's Stars!
