There’s no better way to describe our Today’s Star than an ego-less, team driven player-Jordan Lipson. Now in his 15th season, “Primo” has risen to the ranks of some of the greatest to grace our league. He ranks 2nd all time in wins and innings pitched, and first all time in strikeouts.
Lipson is a consummate professional. Always positive, always ready to play, he brings a competitive edge while remaining “the nice guy”. Lipson has captured the pitcher of the year award 5 times throughout his career. He is one of very few players to be given the playoff MVP award in a losing cause.
Jordan has always been a generous player and teammate. For many years he was a league sponsor-supporting the league any way he could.
Still in search of his elusive first championship, the fireballer remains elite. He throws one of the hardest fastballs in league history, and mixes with curves, slurves, knuckles, and changeups!
