It’s truly a tribute to how incredible the RHMRBL is when players survive 20+ years. In our segment today we honor another long standing veteran. He’s a 5 time champion, former Manager Of The Year and Playoff MVP - Daniel Alexander.
“Danny A” has always been a quiet leader. A solid outfielder, he has often platooned at 2nd base, but largely patrolled Center Field. Danny entered the league at a time where many of our forefathers were leaving, himself becoming the ‘new age’ or next generation.
Entering the RHMRBL Hall Of Fame is recounted as Danny A’s greatest moment as a league vet. Inducted in 2007, ‘DA’ is top 6 in plate appearances, at bats, hits, and runs. With a career average over .400, and an on base percentage over .500, Danny has absolutely (and successfully) passed the test of time.
When asked to describe Danny, a fellow teammate said “they just don’t make ‘em like this anymore!” Very true words for our Today’s Star. Here’s to another 20 years of incredible fellowship and baseball!
