It’s exciting to see the emergence of young talent in our league. Some youngsters evolve over time, while others are blessed with natural skill sets that help them excel. Spencer Heide is the latter-a young versatile player with a strong arm and a knack for the game.

Now in his third year, Heide has grown to become one of the top catchers in the league. A calm, sure armed player, he knows his way behind the dish. As his confidence grows, so does his presence at the plate. He’s currently having his best season, leading his top contending Athletics in multiple categories.
