Playoffs: Round Two

Round One ended last night as Jordan Levy slammed the door on the Jays, striking out the side, capping the Dodgers 5-4 victory, sending them to face the Royals in the next round. The other second round matchup was determined last week as the Astros swept the Phillies atop back to back complete games by Alan Akselrod.

It's a battle of second and fourth seeds as the Dodgers try to stay hot visiting the rested and ready Royals on diamond 7 tonight. Taking to diamond four it's the top seeded Athletics who play host to the sixth seeded upstart Astros. They switch diamonds and home fields Sunday afternoon to try and close it out, otherwise its back for a third and final game Thursday. If the first rounds games were any indication this second round should be full of incredible action and standout performances!
