After taking 7 years off from The Big Leagues, Michael Cooper returned last year to help the then ailing Astros to The Cup. He’s a leader, he’s a catalyst, he’s enigmatic - he is the “Coop”.
Cooper has always proven to be a difficult out. The chippy hitter uses both his speed and intelligence to burn pitchers and adversaries the same. A former Old Glove recipient (2006), Michael has total command on the infield. His high baseball IQ and acumen for the game makes him a threat to his opposition, and a clear welcome addition to his teammates.
Returning last summer to fill in for ailing Astros, we’re thrilled to have the superstar back for a full season in 2019.
Currently raking with the Twins, Coop looks to cap off a fantastic campaign by capturing another Reaper Cup.
