We hope that you and your families continue to stay safe and well as we continue to progress through these historic times. The RHMRBL Executive was excited to be able to provide safe and recreational baseball helping everyone get back for a successful year at The Green. I’d like to tip my hat as it was a great effort by all members involved. We hope that we met all expectations and satisfied everyone’s desire to play safe baseball. It’s so satisfying to report that we had zero positive cases during our 2021 campaign on the field. Well done by all. It was great to get back out on the field, shake off the rust, and see some old friends while making some new ones at the same time.
CONGRATULATIONS to the 2021 Reaper Cup Champion Mariners. Another team to range from last in the regular season to League Champions! The Mariners showed true form come playoff time displaying offensive dominance while showcasing their defensive depth. The pitching supremacy held the run producing Yankees to a total of 27 runs through 5 games, while putting up 47 runs for themselves. Team Captain Jordan Levy bounced back into the Championship column with his 10th Championship in 16 years-after a 3 year hiatus. Congrats again to Jordan and the Mariners.
We hope to see you all back next year for a full season of GREAT Richmond Hill Men’s Recreational Baseball. Stay tuned for upcoming updates. Your Exec team is still diligently working on trying to put together a year end Banquet-with capacity and the need for passports being the ultimate limiting factors.
