With Summer 2024 right around the corner, RHMRBL is gearing up for another historic season! Mixing the perfect blend of veteran experience with fresh perspective we are proud to announce the 12 men, 6 teams, chasing the 1 and only Reaper Cup. Without further ado I give you your 2024 Captain pairings.
The wily Paul So is paired with the league youth movement leader Martin O’Brien. Is the recipe for RHMRBL success found in the combination of experience and youth? These two intend to find out.
Our very own President Pierre Abrahams is paired with parking lot grill master Peter Amaral. Both captains have found success dominating the parking lot. They will hope to translate this into on-field success!
Returning to Captain for the first time since 2013 is Daniel Alexander paired with the ageless Howland Chew. Looking to re-capture the magic of 2013 when Danny A won Manager of the Year, Chew certainly wont shy away from the long nights (in the parking lot) this job entails.
Fresh off a 2023 Championship run Leo Scire will be looking to run it back with first time captain Spencer Korman. With over 30 seasons of experience between them they will look to put that experience to good use in the upcoming draft and season!
Former Batting champ Rick Berridge returns to the captain role again for 2024, combined with the consistent bat of Michael Van Bommel. These two offensive stalwarts will look to use that base to build a winning roster.
Rounding out our 6 pairings is the larger-than-life Eric Seidel paired with rookie Captain Nick Polito. Seidel will look to take advantage of the natural leadership and instincts of Polito as he takes him under is wing while chasing the illusive Reaper Cup!
Draft night will be here before we know it! Will we see similar drafts trends as years past? Or could the injection freshfaces lead to a Draft like never before?
