2016 was an incredible year for RHMRBL baseball. It marked the return of some veteran talent and also the last hurrah for some league legends. The Athletics were simply a team of destiny. Fighting through injuries all season, the 13-10-1 Athletics battled triumphantly through the playoffs.
The name “Athletics” has more Reaper Cups than any other name. Needless to say, with championship names like Paul So, Richard Rendek, Alan Akselrod and Jordan Levy - this team was destined for greatness. Marveled with limitless pitching from unlikely heroes, it seemed like if you cut off one head, three more monstrous ones grew back!
Who will claim the 35th Reaper Cup this summer? Only time will tell!
