Hall of Fame

Our leagues highest honour...to be recognized by your fellow players for your all-time league achievement. Some have entered the hall with a consistent bat, some for stellar defense, others because of their leadership and dedication to the league. Some playing in this league for over 25 years. Whatever the reason, these members are the best of the best.

The Hall of Fame includes some of our leagues best current players: Rick Berridge, Andy Boruszok & Geoff Carli. From Brian “BD” Dunnett, inducted in 1988 as one of the leagues most consistent hitters & pitchers, to league founders Mark Tulloch, Scott Ross, Bob Barton & Terry Robertson. From who I believe is our leagues all-time best player Dave Repath to one of the leagues oldest players Greg Garbe.

The hall includes many former league presidents, Dan "Bucky" Buchanan, Chris "Bammer" Van Velzen, Joe Green, Andy Dalton and myself in 1992 and 1998. Our previous year inductees will nominate 2 league members for this year, presented at our annual league banquet. As one of two league members from year one in 1985, one of my proudest league moments was in 1992 when I entered the RHMRBL Hall of Fame.

Whether for my play on the field or for my 10+ years on the league executive, I know my name will live on in this league long after I hang up my cleats. My dream comes true in 2011, my 27th year in this league. My oldest son Jimmy Jr joins the RHMRBL for the first time and gets a chance to play with his old man.

Now I just need to hang on until 2024 when my son Tyler can join too!!! Well...maybe not!!!
